Focal to the New Forest Comedy Festival, Forest Forge Theatre has placed a strong focus on community involvement in its operations; this extends to touring our own productions to venues across Hampshire and the New Forest, as well as creating projects with local community groups and schools.
As the only self-producing theatre in the area, they are thrilled to keep cultivating a creative hub for regional and international artists alike to experiment, develop, and perform new work. They are passionate about forming collaborations with different artists.
Their purpose-built Forest Forge Theatre also serves as a home for their well-established Youth Theatre where around 150 young people take part in theatrical activities every week. Moreover, it is also the residence of The Young Company for emerging artists, our Associate Artist program, and various adult projects including the Act Your Age drama group.
