Alison Spittle is here for New Forest Comedy Festival and following a completely sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and being voted as one of the top-reviewed shows in the comedy section, Alison is beginning her first UK tour.
Combining her love for both star jumps in the water and watching people fight in chip shops, she experiences a memorable event when a fight erupts during aqua aerobics. This forces her to confront herself to discover that she lives for confrontation despite appearing like an outwardly nice person.
Host of BBC Sounds Wheel of Misfortune, The Guilty Feminist podcast and writer for Have I Got News For You, Alison is praised as having “a kind of genius” (Irish Times).
The show WET has earned rave reviews such as:
★★★★★ from Pow! Showbiz, ★★★★ from One4Review, ★★★★ from The Skinny, Broadway Baby and Entertainment Now, plus ★★★★ from The List.
The tour will be making a stop at The Attic Comedy Club in Southampton which can be found at River Studios on 32 Winsor Road, Totton, Southampton. SO40 9HQ. From 7 pm with happy hour doors opening beforehand; seating is unreserved.
